Where we came from

In 2012, when "digital transformation" wasn't yet a buzzword, Cubo9 was already building systems for companies that depended on technology to operate every day. No room for systems that crashed, portals that went down, or integrations that failed silently. We were born in Recife, in the Northeast of Brazil, close to the real problems of companies that needed serious technology. That origin shaped how we work: direct, committed, without unnecessary romanticism.

2012

Founded in Recife, Brazil. Websites and systems for companies that needed serious technology.

More complex projects: e-commerces, multi-tenant platforms and API integrations — each with its own demands and client.

2016
2020

Marketplace for a major shopping center group in Northeast Brazil: scale, multiple merchants, continuous operation and payment splitting.

Polo Caruaru: fashion marketplace. First mobile apps and MVPs for startups.

2022
2023

Start of the Grupo Moura partnership: 11 critical portals in Brazil under continuous management.

Moura expands to Argentina. E-Bike Ella gets its first digital presence. App for a Spanish mobility startup.

2024
2025

E-Bike Ella evolves from landing page to full e-commerce. First Cubo9 proprietary products begin taking shape.

Moura Uruguay portal — the 12th portal, the 3rd country. Launch of CuboPlay, CuboInk and CuboClinic.

What we do differently

We don't deliver projects and disappear. Grupo Moura has worked with us for over 3 years — 12 critical portals running in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. That doesn't happen by chance. It happens because we treat each system as if it were our own — because, in part, it is. Our own infrastructure (CuboBase) powers the products we develop internally, and the same engineering standards apply to every client project.

After years solving complex problems for clients, we realized some solutions could become products. CuboPlay came from real demand for managing digital screens. CuboInk from years understanding the fast-print market. CuboClinic from the operational complexity of clinic networks. None of them came from a PowerPoint idea. All of them came from real problems we encountered along the way.
