RedeMED is a credit card focused on healthcare benefits. The operation depended on a server infrastructure, links and services that needed to run continuously for cardholders and managers to use the card and access management systems.
Challenge
Maintain a complex legacy infrastructure — servers, links, microservices and APIs — not originally built by Cubo9, requiring continuous support and controlled evolution. Simultaneously, develop and maintain the card’s mobile apps for end users.
What Cubo9 did
- Continuous infrastructure maintenance (servers, links, networks)
- Maintenance of legacy card microservices and APIs
- Development and maintenance of RedeMED Android and iOS apps, including app APIs
- Infrastructure migration from internal servers to HotLink datacenter (Recife) with cost reduction and improved availability
- Ongoing support of the migrated environment after transition
Result
- Operation maintained continuously for 10 years without service interruption
- Infrastructure migration completed with reduced operational costs
- Android and iOS apps developed and maintained in production
The partnership ended in 2022 by Cubo9’s strategic decision to discontinue its on-site technical support arm and focus on software development.
